Love & Joy Early Learning Centre Childcare Fee Schedule

Please note all fee, except half day fee, including everyday fresh cooked lunch, two weeks rotate menus available when visit our childcare. Fresh fruit and snacks for morning tea and afternoon tea are free for all kids.

We will email FamilyBoost programmer childcare refund statements to you every three months for IRD childcare fee refund, which cover maximum 40% of weekly ECE fees (up to a maximum of $1,560 per quarter) for eligible families..

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee of $50.00 is payable when enrolling your child to secure their position. This fee covers administration set up costs including your child’s portfolio folder and stationery costs.

Enrolment / Withdrawal

Once a child is enrolled and confirmation of a start date is given, all booked sessions will be charged, regardless of whether a child attends or not.
Two weeks written notice is required if your child is leaving the Centre. Fees are payable during this notice period.

Payments

Automatic payment and internet banking are our only methods of payment.

Fees are to be paid at least one week in advance. Failure to keep fees up to date may result in your child’s enrolment being cancelled and the debt being passed onto a debt collection agency. All associated costs incurred in recovering the debt will be passed onto you.

WINZ childcare subsidies are available for fee assistance depending on the level of your total family income. Please talk to staff regarding this. The subsidy will only be a part payment of the total weekly fee charged, you must pay the remainder. Parents are responsible for the total fee payment – if WINZ is to stop at any point for any reason.

Family Discount

Where there are 2 or more children from the same family, a discount of 10% off the oldest child’s fees is available.

Absences

Full fees are charged when your child is absent due to sickness or other reasons. Fees will be charged at the full rate for all statutory holidays.

Where a child is absent for a period of 5 consecutive working days or more a holding fee of 50% of the child’s normal weekly fee is payable provided that written notice is given of the absence. This discount is offered for up to 2 weeks of your child’s normal enrolment days per calendar year (Jan-Dec). Your child must have been enrolled for at least 6 months to qualify for this entitlement.

Additional days

If your child is enrolled at the centre on a part-time basis (less than 5 days per week) you are able to request additional days on a temporary or permanent basis. Please speak with the centre management as soon as possible to check if the day you require is available.

WINZ

The Centre supports families receiving WINZ subsidies. However fees must be paid in full until the letter of confirmation is received from WINZ. When subsidies are paid, the parents/caregivers account will be credited. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure all paper work is processed and received by WINZ on time. Any delays could result in the parent having to pay full fees until the subsidy is received.
