Our under two room caters for up to 10 children from 3 months to 2 years old. We provide a flexible program for infants aimed at catering for the individual children and their families. We encourage an inviting, full of love, warm and nurturing environment for all.
Daily routine for under 2s
7:30am: Centre opens, children welcomed and settled. Activities set up for children to play and explore.
9:15am: Mat time, Karakia, wash hands.
9:30am: Morning tea.
10:00am: Free play including messy play, arts, crafts, outdoor play and so on. Nappy change and toileting. Care routines according to individual children’s needs.
11:15am: Music, movement, dance and stories, karakia and wash hands.
11:30am: Lunch time.
12:00pm: Nappy change and toileting, sleep time or quiet play.
2:15pm: Reading, music, afternoon tea.
2:45pm: Free play, nappy change and toileting, care routines according to individual children’s needs.
4:00pm: Group story time, music and movement.
5:00pm: Wash hands and late snacks.
6:00pm: Centre closes.
